I’ve been wanting to expand my blog to personal style and I found an amazing up and coming photographer to shoot with here in NYC. Robert has a great eye for photography and I think he captured the essence of the city while also capturing my style.

For my very first personal style blog post, I knew I wanted to keep the outfit minimalist and understated because that’s my signature style. I paired my favorite silk shirt with a simple pair of black jeans and these gorgeous over the knee boots from Steve Madden. that are a dead on match for the Stuart Weitzman Highland boots. However, instead of the steep nearly $800 price tag, these are a modest $150.

We went to Washington Square park to shoot this look and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Nearly 70-degree weather in the middle of December? Whether it’s due to global warming or just a random stroke of luck– I’ll take it.
