For the uninformed, today marks the first day of the Net-A-Porter sale. This is major because you can get some seriously deep discounts on those designer shoes you’ve been eyeing. Items have been marked down by up to 50%. Designers like Isabel Marant, J. Crew, Burberry and Chloe are included in the sale.
While I’m all about splurging every now and then (treat yo self!), I’m not an advocate for spending money that should be used on essentials like rent and food. Been there, done that. Credit card debt is no fun. Every time one of these sales roll around, I see lists with the best picks. I find it a little discouraging when most of the items featured cost more than my rent.
